Pursuing the Prize - Devotional Series
"I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14, New King James Version). This incredible statement from the apostle Paul expresses his earnest desire to serve Jesus and press forward in His service. It is also the text that serves as the basis for our latest devotional series entitled Pursuing the Prize. As Christians, we want to obtain the prize Christ has won for us through His sacrifice, but the path we travel to receive it is difficult. In 2023, we focused on the text of Philippians 3 to learn how to endure and reach the prize Christ promises His followers. In 2024, our focus shifts to consider the kingdom of God.
